About
Built to make itself less necessary
Most homework tools are measured by how fast they hand over an answer. That is the wrong target — a student who gets the answer has finished the assignment and learned nothing that transfers to the next one.
The problem with getting the answer
Every exam is marked on method. Not just the final number — the working, the reasoning, the steps that got you there. A tool that skips to the answer has skipped everything worth marks.
Worse, it hides the specific thing you needed to know: where you went wrong. If you dropped a negative on line three, a fresh worked solution does not tell you that. You read it, it makes sense, and you make the same mistake next week.
What we built instead
Homeworkify explains the method step by step, tells you how confident it is at each step, and then — the part that matters — marks the attempt you made yourself and finds the first place it went wrong.
It tells you what kind of mistake it was, and what still counts. If your later working follows correctly from an earlier slip, it says so, because that is how an examiner would mark it.
And because it remembers, it can eventually tell you something no one-off answer can: that you have made a sign error in seven of your last ten physics problems. That is the thing worth knowing.
What we will not do
Homeworkify does not unlock, scrape, or reproduce content from Chegg, Course Hero, Bartleby, Numerade, or any other paywalled study service.
That is not a policy paragraph written to look responsible. Those domains sit on a blocklist in the code, links to them are refused with an explanation, and an automated check fails the build if any part of the codebase tries to reach one. It was built so that "just fetch it from there" is not available as a shortcut later.
Every explanation is generated at the moment you ask for it. There is no answer bank because there is nothing to have a bank of.
Being honest about the limits
It can be confidently wrong. That is why confidence ratings appear on every step, why you can flag any answer, and why we say plainly that it is not a substitute for your instructor.
It does not know your syllabus, your exam board, or what your teacher covered on Tuesday. It can show you a valid method. Whether it is your class's method is something only you can check.
We would rather say "not certain about step 3" than guess. An uncertain verdict is a real answer here, not a failure to produce one.
Who makes it
Homeworkify EU is built by Quantum Synergy Solutions. It is an active product under continuous development — features listed on this site are ones that work today, and the ones that are not finished are marked as such rather than quietly implied.
