Academic Integrity Policy

Our position

Homeworkify is built to teach the method, not to hand over answers. Every explanation walks through the reasoning before the result, because an answer you cannot reproduce yourself is worth nothing on the exam.

What Homeworkify will not do

Homeworkify does not unlock, fetch, or reproduce content from Chegg, Course Hero, or any other paywalled study service. This is enforced in code and checked automatically on every build — not left as a policy someone could forget.

Homeworkify declines to echo back large blocks of pasted copyrighted text, and generates an original explanation instead.

Live exams and assessments

Do not use Homeworkify during a closed-book exam, timed assessment, or any activity where your institution prohibits outside assistance. Submissions that look like a pasted exam paper rather than a question you are stuck on are declined automatically.

Using Homeworkify in breach of your institution's academic integrity rules is a breach of these terms.

What we ask of you

Ask about the problem you are stuck on, follow the method, then attempt a similar problem yourself. That is what the practice generator is for, and it is the difference between using Homeworkify well and using it badly.
